Evidence-Based Classes for Social Success

Making and keeping friends doesn’t come easily to every teen—but it can be taught. Our PEERS® social skills groups offer a supportive, structured environment where neurodivergent teens and tweens learn how to build meaningful relationships and feel more confident in social situations.

Based on the renowned, evidence-based PEERS® curriculum developed at UCLA, this program goes beyond surface-level advice. We teach real-world skills in a way that’s concrete, affirming, and accessible—so students not only understand what to do in social situations, but how to do it in a way that feels authentic to them.

Each session includes:

  • Step-by-step instruction on a specific social skill (like joining a conversation or handling teasing)
  • Live modeling and examples that show exactly what to do—and what not to do

  • Role-playing and practice with supportive peers and instructors

  • Group discussion to reflect, ask questions, and deepen understanding

Lessons are highly visual, interactive, and designed with neurodivergent learners in mind. Everything is broken down into manageable steps to avoid overwhelm and build confidence.

Choose between a once-a-week format or our popular 2-week daily bootcamp. No matter the format, the structure is predictable, consistent, and proven to work.

Check out the PEERS website for research articles and news stories about the program's successes.

Our PEERS® classes are designed for youth ages 11–17 and their families who want to better understand and navigate the often confusing world of social interaction.

If any of the following sound familiar, this program may be a great fit for your family:

  • You're a parent who feels unsure how to help your child initiate social hangouts without it feeling forced or awkward

  • Your child wants more friends but isn’t sure how to make or keep them

  • You're trying to support your child socially—but don’t want to pressure them or push them too hard

  • Your child tries to connect with peers but often ends up left out or rejected

  • You wish you had a way to explain social rules and "unwritten norms" in a way your child can actually understand

The PEERS® program is a proven and effective intervention for:

  • Individuals on the Autism Spectrum

  • Youth with ADHD, anxiety, depression, or other social-emotional challenges

  • Teens and tweens who are socially motivated but need help with the "how"

To get the most out of this program, participants should:

  • Have adequate verbal communication skills

  • Be able to self-regulate with minimal support

  • Show motivation to learn and engage socially

Our groups are fast-paced and highly interactive—these prerequisites help set students up for success from day one.

The following social skills are covered in each training:

  • Developing and maintaining friendships
  • Conversational skills
  • Entering and exiting conversations
  • Appropriate use of humor
  • Handling disagreements
  • Electronic communication
  • Being a good sport
  • Organizing get togethers
  • Handling teasing and bullying
  • Changing a reputation

Each online session follows a structured, research-based format that keeps participants actively learning and practicing:

  • Review of previously learned skills to reinforce progress

  • Step-by-step instruction on a new evidence-based social skill

  • Live online practice and role-play with peers to build confidence

  • Real-life application strategies so students leave ready to use what they’ve learned

To make the most of each session, parents are a vital part of the process. You’ll receive handouts every week with simple conversation starters, coaching tips, and ways to help your child practice the skills in everyday life. We call this the “social coach” model—because when teens feel supported at home, they’re far more likely to succeed socially in the real world.

To keep learning personalized and interactive, group size is capped at just 8 participants. This allows your child to receive individual support, build strong peer connections, and truly engage in their growth.

We know that accessing quality mental health and social support can be costly. A typical teen therapy session often runs $75–$150 per hour—but we believe life-changing skills shouldn’t come with a steep price tag.

Our full PEERS® program is offered for just $30 per 45-minute session, making it accessible for more families.

Total Program Cost: Only $300

That includes:

  • 10 live, online, small-group sessions based on the UCLA PEERS® curriculum

  • Parent handouts for each session to support social coaching at home

  • Optional 1:1 parent coaching calls to guide you in helping your teen practice skills between sessions whenever you need one

Need Financial Help? We’ve Got You.

We believe every teen deserves access to social skills support—regardless of financial circumstances.

If the full program fee presents a challenge for your family, you’re welcome to submit a Hardship Request—for any reason, no questions asked. No paperwork or proof of income is required. Just fill out a simple form, and we’ll review your request with care and respect.

You can read more about our Fee Reduction/Hardship Request Policy during registration.

We’re here to support your family—and we’ll do our best to make it work.
