Weekly Social Groups

While we do not require a diagnosis to participate in this non-therapeutic group, most of our participants are neurodivergent and have diagnoses of Autism, ADHD, and/or social anxiety.

Game On will be most appropriate for kids who are able to independently function in a classroom, but might need moderate support in socializing with others. While they can carry on a conversation, the topics may be narrow or their interactions may seem "odd" to people who are neurotypical. Your child should be able to follow most directions independently and learn new games with demonstration, visuals, or verbal assistance.

What Makes Game On Youth Different?

• Purposeful Facilitation – Every group is intentionally guided rather than simply supervised
• Learning Through Games – Tabletop games and D&D provide meaningful opportunities to practice communication, teamwork, emotional regulation, and flexible thinking.
• Strength-Based Approach – We build our time together around each participant's interests, abilities, and unique ways of engaging with others. 
• Small, Supportive Groups – With a consistent community of 6–10 peers, participants have opportunities to get to know one another, discover shared interests, and develop connections over time.
• Founder-Led – Every group is personally guided by Game On Youth founder Brandi Kranich, providing consistency and a familiar face each week.

Friendships Grow Naturally

At Game On Youth, we create opportunities for kids and teens to meet peers who share their interests, enjoy games together, and develop social connections in a supportive environment.

We help facilitate interactions, encourage participation, and provide support when needed. Some participants benefit from more guidance, while others are ready to engage with peers more independently.

Friendships are personal and mutual. Some participants connect quickly, while others need time to feel comfortable and find peers they click with. While we can't guarantee friendships, we're committed to creating an environment where meaningful connections have the opportunity to grow.

What to Expect

While every Game On Youth session is unique, most evenings follow a familiar rhythm that helps participants feel comfortable, confident, and ready to connect with others.

• Arrive & Connect
  Participants check in, get settled, and reconnect with familiar peers. Facilitators help introduce new participants and connect them with others who share their interests. As everyone arrives, participants begin exploring games and deciding what they'd like to play.
• Play Together
  Participants enjoy familiar favorites, explore new tabletop games, or continue ongoing D&D adventures, depending on their group. Activities are selected based on participants' interests, with facilitators helping everyone find opportunities to play and interact with peers. Some groups benefit from more structured activities and guidance, while others are ready to choose games, organize themselves, and interact more independently. Our approach adapts to the needs of each group rather than following a rigid curriculum.
• Guided Growth
  Games naturally create opportunities to practice communication, teamwork, emotional regulation, and flexible thinking. We help participants connect with peers, navigate social challenges, and build confidence in their interactions. The amount of support varies depending on the needs of the group. Some participants benefit from direct coaching and encouragement, while others are ready to practice their social skills more independently. Our goal is to provide support when it's needed while allowing friendships and interactions to develop naturally.
• Wrap Up
  Before heading home, the group finishes games, shares memorable moments from the evening, and looks forward to seeing each other again next week.

Our goal is to make each gathering a positive experience where participants feel supported, enjoy shared activities, and have opportunities to connect with peers at their own pace.

Zulu's offers an incredible library of modern board games, spacious tables, and a family-friendly atmosphere that makes it the perfect place for participants to connect, collaborate, and have fun together. Families are also welcome to purchase food and drinks before, during, or after group, making it easy to enjoy an evening out.

Tuition

Our class fees vary depending on the group format, meeting length, and the number of participants we can accommodate. For example, our Tabletop Gaming Groups can welcome more participants than our Role-Playing Game (D&D) Groups, which are designed for smaller, more immersive game play.

Billing & Enrollment

Game On Youth groups provide consistent opportunities for participants to get to know one another and develop social connections over time. Because building relationships often takes repeated interactions, enrollment continues automatically from month to month until your family chooses to withdraw.

This allows participants to return to a familiar group each week without having to re-register for every session. The consistency gives them opportunities to build comfort, strengthen existing connections, and get to know new participants as openings become available.

Tuition is automatically billed on a monthly cycle, and families may withdraw at any time by providing the required notice outlined in our enrollment policies.

Hardship Discounts

We believe every child should have access to our programs, regardless of financial circumstances. Hardship discounts are available for a variety of reasons, and we welcome all families with any level of need to apply. 

After selecting a group and completing the registration forms, you can click the link provided in the "Hardship agreement" policy to request a fee reduction to be applied prior to making your payment.
