Weekly Social Groups

While we do not require a diagnosis to participate in this non-therapeutic group, most of our participants are neurodivergent and have diagnoses of Autism, ADHD, and/or social anxiety.

Game On will be most appropriate for kids who are able to independently function in a classroom, but might need moderate support in socializing with others. While they can carry on a conversation, the topics may be narrow or their interactions may seem "odd" to people who are neurotypical. Your child should be able to follow most directions independently and learn new games with demonstration, visuals, or verbal assistance.

What Makes Game On Youth Different?

• Purposeful Facilitation – Every group is intentionally guided rather than simply supervised
• Learning Through Games – Tabletop games and D&D provide meaningful opportunities to practice communication, teamwork, emotional regulation, and flexible thinking.
• Strength-Based Approach – We build our time together around each participant's interests, abilities, and unique ways of engaging with others. 
• Small, Supportive Groups – Participants have opportunities to build lasting friendships in a consistent community of no more than 6-10 peers
• Founder-Led – Every group is personally guided by Game On Youth founder Brandi Kranich, providing consistency and a familiar face each week.

What to Expect

While every Game On Youth session is unique, most evenings follow a familiar rhythm that helps participants feel comfortable, confident, and ready to connect with others.

• Arrive & Connect
  Participants check in, settle into the group, reconnect with friends, and ease into conversation while everyone arrives.
• Play Together
  The group learns new games, enjoys old favorites, or continues an ongoing D&D adventure. Every activity is chosen to encourage collaboration, communication, and plenty of fun.
• Guided Growth
  Games naturally create opportunities to practice communication, teamwork, emotional regulation, and flexible thinking. During these moments, participants receive individualized guidance, coaching, and encouragement to help them work through challenges, strengthen relationships, and build confidence in their own social problem-solving skills. Rather than stepping in to solve every challenge, support is provided to help participants develop the skills and confidence to navigate similar situations more independently over time.
• Wrap Up
  Before heading home, the group finishes games, shares memorable moments from the evening, and looks forward to seeing each other again next week.

Our goal is simple: for every participant to leave feeling successful, connected, and excited to come back for the next adventure.

Where We Meet

Game On Youth is proud to partner with Zulu's Board Game Café in Bothell, a welcoming local business that shares our passion for building community through games.

Zulu's offers an incredible library of modern board games, spacious tables, and a family-friendly atmosphere that makes it the perfect place for participants to connect, collaborate, and have fun together. Families are also welcome to purchase food and drinks before, during, or after group, making it easy to enjoy an evening out.

We're grateful for Zulu's continued support of Game On Youth and their commitment to creating a space where friendships can grow around the game table.

Tuition

Our class fees vary depending on the group format, meeting length, and the number of participants we can accommodate. For example, our Tabletop Gaming Groups can welcome more participants than our Role-Playing Game (D&D) Groups, which are designed for smaller, more immersive game play.

Billing & Enrollment

Game On Youth groups are designed to foster lasting friendships and a strong sense of community. Because meaningful relationships take time to develop, enrollment continues automatically from month to month until your family chooses to withdraw.

This means participants don't have to worry about losing their spot or being separated from the friends they've gotten to know. Instead of re-registering each session, families can enjoy the consistency of returning to the same group week after week while new participants join as openings become available.

Tuition is automatically billed on a monthly cycle, and families may withdraw at any time by providing the required notice outlined in our enrollment policies.

Hardship Discounts

We believe every child should have access to our programs, regardless of financial circumstances. Hardship discounts are available for a variety of reasons, and we welcome all families with any level of need to apply. 

After selecting a group and completing the registration forms, you can click the link provided in the "Hardship agreement" policy to request a fee reduction to be applied prior to making your payment.
